Arianna Witten

 

 

Arianna received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri. Her studies brought forth an understanding of energy, it’s interactions in the environment, and it’s diverse application in our lives. In addition, studies of environmental ecosystems created an understanding of the imbalances that result when an ecosystem is not treated as whole. From this experience, she began to integrate this knowledge of energy and wholeness into the human ecosystem – the body, mind, and spirit.

 

Arianna’s training at the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross Center focused on life, loss, and transition. The role of suppressed emotions, the energetic release of these emotions, and the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being that results when emotions and energy are released was integral to this training.

Polarity Therapy training has taken Arianna's experience to a deeper level. It has integrated an understanding of how the quality of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy effects human health and it has provided a process-oriented system in which balance and healing can occur. Arianna received her Registered Polarity Therapy Practitioner and Polarity Educator certifications from the American Polarity Therapy Association (APTA).

 

Arianna has been teaching and working with clients in the community since 1997. Previous faculty teaching positions have been held with the Carolina School of Massage Therapy, the Listening Hands Polarity Program, Lotus Blossom Wellness, and Carolina Polarity Institute for Energetic Studies. Arianna maintains a private practice in Durham, NC. She offers Polarity Therapy, Polarity Yoga, reflexology, and energy-health related workshops.
